Schmerlenbach best retreat hotel in Germany

In the vote for the best conference hotels in Germany, the Schmerlenbach Conference Center took first place in the "Retreat Hotels" category. After a 2nd place in 2017, the Schmerlenbach conference center received the award as the best conference hotel in Germany at the award ceremony. Schmerlenbach offers a particularly distraction-free conference environment with professional service and state-of-the-art conference technology.

From the laudatory speech at the award ceremony:
This conference venue conjures up a very special atmosphere. A former monastery in a secluded location invites you to concentrate on the essentials. Here, conference guests can escape the pressure to perform and become free for new ideas; find solutions to upcoming challenges in peace and quiet. The monastic ambience plays its part, as does the Benedictine hospitality - people are always the focus here. Transformed into today's world, this means that the hotel team is impressively flexible when it comes to meeting guests' wishes.

That individuality is respected and responsibility is taken for the environment. None of this is at odds with state-of-the-art conference technology and high-speed internet. On the contrary: the conference center is a good example of how a church building can successfully bridge the gap between spirituality and a professional conference center.

As in the previous year, the Schmerlenbach conference center once again took 5th place in the category of the best seminar hotels in Germany. With its monastic ambience and professional conference environment, Schmerlenbach is one of the outstanding conference destinations in Germany.

The award is a great recognition, but above all an incentive to continue to adapt the conference conditions to the individual requirements of our guests and the conference technology possibilities.

We warmly welcome you to the best retreat hotel!
